Former Columbia Records artist, David Owen, moved to Ogden, Utah from the East Coast in 2009 after years of successful national/international touring. Upon settling into this vibrant mountain town, David began a successful guitar teaching practice that has been growing ever since. Each lesson is tailored to the student's musical preferences and personal goals. Making each lesson fun is always the top priority.

Lessons Approach

David's musical experience spans over 20 years. Over this time he has delicately and patiently honed his craft, shattering musical boundaries while simultaneously realizing it's rules. Being afforded this creative and ecclectic experience led David to develop a fresh approach to teaching guitar. His success as a teacher is found in a balanced approach, which relies heavily on the world-renowned Suzuki Method and placing a strong focus on each student's preferred musical style including favorite artists, songs and genres. 
 

Monthly Lesson Rates

Guitar

Four lessons per month (one half hour per week). Focusing heavily on student's personal goals and musical styles. Learning the guitar is a choice which reaps a lifetime of rewards.

Four lessons per month (one half hour per week). This is an excellent first introduction to the world of stringed instruments, not to mention it's huge current popularity. Learn a stringed instrument in half the time with twice the great vibes!

Spending longs hours at professional recording studios from Sony/BMG's "in house" studio in Los Angeles California to AOL Live in New York City has provided David with abundant musical production experience focusing heavily on creativity and band dynamics.
